Dear Mr President, Thank you so much for your service. I watched the media try to undermine your authority at any given opportunity. I admired you for sticking to your principles. You did explain to the people how you are not doing what is popular, but what is right. History will show that you indeed sir were doing right. Thank you and Mrs. Bush for being a people of great integrity and for making me and my family proud to be Americans. God Bless you, Randy G. Pizarro

Dear Mr. President, Thank you for your service and keeping us safe for the past 8 years. No other president has had to deal with as much as you have during your terms. You had a terrorist attack, hurricane aftermaths, and the tip of the iceberg - economic instability. Americans enjoyed the decreasing interests rates and overindulged - but now that the markets have plummeted, you have unfortunately have taken the fall...again. As President you must be able to make those hard, unpopular decisions (suggestions by your advisors and Congress - you were not alone) and take the fall - you have done that respectfully. America will see that in the future what a great President you have been, that you loved your country and its people. You have treated our military - service men & women in harms way and our veterans with the respect they deserve. Speeches and looks do not make the person - actions speak louder than words - I've heard you and see that every decision was made with purpose for our people! Thank you - my family will truly miss you as our Commander-In-Chief and the First Lady of class - enjoy your retirement. Sincerely, Nicole H. New Hampshire

Dear President Bush, We were so blessed to have you, a man of faith, as our President during some of the darkest moments of United States history. You led us through the trauma of 9-11 with confidence and reassurance. Miraculously, we have not been attacked on our soil since that date. Everyday citizens will never know what diabolical schemes were thwarted because you relentlessly fought terrorism without easing up for a moment. You brought morality back to the White House, and that was a refreshing change. People of faith knew they had an ally and prayer partner. I hope you will take a long, well-earned vacation and, with me, continue to pray for our nation and our leaders. Thank you for carrying out a thankless job. I will always respect and admire you. Believe it or not, I still have your election bumper sticker on my car, not out of laziness, but as a sign of support for you, even when some others lost the vision. May God bless you and your family.

Thank you SO very much for keeping us safe, showing America that you are not afraid to follow your convictions, even against the media (who acts like this is a high school popularity contest!) and President Bush, I have NEVER felt more safe or more cared about by a president until you. I wish you rest, relaxation, peace and love. You have earned it and you are a great man and a GREAT PRESIDENT. I have always felt like if you walked into a room, you were approachable and like the "rest of us." I've never had that feeling before either. My family and I will miss you terribly. Hold your head HIGHER THAN HIGH and know that there were SO many of us completely behind you...we just never got to speak. No one wanted to hear what we had to say. I wish there was truly a way for you to see the kind comments here and have a laugh at the silly ones. You're a good man George W. Bush. You WILL be missed terribly. AHaley and WDunlap

Words cannot describe how I and my family feel today. I can't tell you how many times my 81 year old mom would call and say, "I just wish I could put my arms around the President and give him a hug." My father, a WW2 vet and hero just adores President Bush. My father was a self made made man and always has respect for a man of character and principal....W's got it and it came from a strong sense of family. As a family, we were all disgusted as to how the media and ignorant idiots treated the President of the US. What a great man. I only hope I live long enough to see history give this gentleman the credit and treatment he really deserves. Both my family and I want to say thank you to a hero and our President. There will never be another. We wish he, his beautiful and classy wife Laura and of course his parents all the best. We hope God bestows many blessings on all of them for many years to come!! Thank you "W."

Mr. President, I've never written a president before but I want to make sure you know how much I have appreciated your leadership. Sir, there is no other president in our history that had your challenge of leading our country after an unimaginable terrorist attack against civilian citizens on our homeland. You remained steadfast in making our security your number 1 priority. May history remember you as a man who remained true to your belief instead of true to a poll. Many many best wishes for you and Mrs. Bush.

Mr. President, thank you for keeping my family safe. It has been your faith, integrity, and principles for the past 8 years that have led America to continue to be the great nation she is. No other President has ever had to face such spiritual warfare in his own country against the family. As a Police Officer on the street I will continue to fight for the family in every way that I can. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Psalm 33:12
